Voice Interaction

User Voice Flow With Alexa

This is an exercise to explore the possibilities of setting an interaction flow with a digital assistant, in this case, Amazon’s Alexa.

Daniela Rocha designed the “Happy Path” and I built the User Flow using Voiceflow.

It is intended to simulate a phone automated menu for citizens calling the Toronto Service Requests for Waste Collection and Bins, or a Skill installed in Amazon’s devices with Alexa.

It can be tested using this link without the need for the Echo device.

Testing in the Echo device

I installed the designed Skill in my Echo device and tried a natural “not-happy path” with both intended and unintended mistakes.
